Eva and Fabian's wedding in Playa del Carmen was like an explosion of colors and happiness that lit up the whole place.

If there is one thing we learned from this wedding is to never trust the weather forecast until the day before the wedding. Despite a week of rain predictions, Saturday arrived, and the weather was perfect!
Eva and Fabian started the day at the Nuestra Señora del Carmen chapel before moving on to Rancho Las Palmas, right in the heart of the Mayan jungle.
They chose a beautiful venue with gardens, a big palapa, and a massive pool. The theme was very tropical, with beautiful vibrant flowers and lively colors. Eva wore two dresses, a stunning white flowing dress, and then a show-stopping glittery silver dress.
Eva and Fabian are a great example of why we encourage all couples to do things their way, they didn't settle for one ceremony; they went for three! Religious, civil, and Mayan the same day! It was so unique, emotional and special.
As the sun set, the party started! A floral arrangement hung from above, there was a mariachi band during the dinner followed by emotional speeches from their loved ones and a wild dance party with people from all around the world celebrating and dancing together in their wedding in Playa del Carmen.
Now, for our experience as their videography team. We absolutely loved getting to spend time with Eva and Fabian, their story is so unique and from the beginning we knew we were a good match. They selected our collection II and we got to be with them the day before the wedding for their visit to the Xel-Ha park and then the day after their wedding for a Storytelling Session. On their wedding day we teamed up with Marcela from Endless Love Stories (their wedding planner), she did an outstanding job and was kind enough to arrange a location check with us two days prior to the wedding.
As for the ceremonies, our preparation and expertise was essential. Despite some tight spots and restrictions in the chapel and a bit of a tango with the photographer which lead to some of our main shots intersecting, we got to capture all the magic in three different angles for each ceremony as well as four different sound sources to capture their vows and speeches. The result is simply incredible! We are obsessed with their final highlight film and this collection already became a favorite in our portfolio.
Cheers to the couple who turned a jungle into a dance floor and made us all believe in happy ever after! And once again, congratulations!
